DSSC possesses sufficient human resources and technical force. Now DSSC has over 6000 employees in various technical classifications needed in shipbuilding including ship welder, fitter, gas welder, gas cutting man, plumber, crane man, mechanical and electrical worker, numerical equipment controller, bench worker and repairer. The managerial personnel of headquarter are all above junior college education or with senior technical titles. Among the first-line working staff, 150 own the worker technician certificate approved by the country, all the 2736 welders entirely have CCS certificates and 80 welders have 6G/6GR certificate issued by DNV. 1516 workers among the first-line employees have reached the advanced technician level and 416 of them hold the senior technical certificate issued by the country. 1726 have reached the medium level and 534 of them hold the medium technical certificate. More than 150 workers own the qualification certificate of military fleet building.

         DSSC owned complete managerial rules, regulations and entire quality assurance system (DSSC successfully passed the auditing of GB/T19001—2000 by Quality Assurance Center of China Association for Quality on May 18th, 2004). For many years, DSSC has continuously participated in building and repairing various types of merchant ships, naval fleet and offshore engineering projects including jack-up platform, chemical product tanker, multi-purpose container vessel, ro/ro passenger ship, ro/ro ship, steaming fleet, semi-submersible ship, deep sea working ship, FPSO, VLCC and so on in large shipyard including Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co. Ltd, Dalian Oriental Precision Marine Equipment Co. Ltd, Guangzhou Guangchuan International Shipyard, Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard, Shanghai Hudong shipyard, Tianjin New Port Shipyard, Zhanjiang South-sea West Marine Petroleum Project Co. Ltd, Yangzhuo Jiangyang Shipyard, Yangzhou Sailing Group, Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding Co. Ltd, XIamen Shipyard, Fuzhou South-east Shipyard, Fuzhou Mawei Shipyard, Wuchuan Heavy Steel Structure Co. Ltd, Yantai Lavos Shipyard and Weihai Shipyard etc. DSSC has also participated in building large-scale steel structure for bridges, for civil construction and for over-sized crane equipment etc.?

         The projects built by DSSC are all in accordance with the technical requirements and quality standards concerned. Therefore DSSC has confirmed as a unit of exemption from inspection on quality by many large-scale shipyard. In the aspect of foreign labor service, DSSC has successfully formed longstanding friendly cooperative relationship with world-wide and neighbor countries and already sent over 500 vessel welders, fitters and plumbers to the shipyards in Japan, South-Korea etc in groups. Meanwhile DSSC has reached labor cooperation agreement and turnkey contract with Singapore, Kuwait, UAE, Saudi-Arabia, Japan and South-Korea etc. For the good quality and trust-worthy service, DSSC has been entitled good reputation in the domestic and international market.

         At present, DSSC has portrayed a new five years planning-----it will develop into the biggest, most competitive and influential shipbuilding labor service company at the end of “fifteenth five-years planning”.
